It is only 5.40am and the sun is shining brightly on Keykey ass! What an early daybreak. Looking out of the window, Keykey can see that a lot of people are walking/jogging at the track in the park. The park looks very popular.
As per the routine for every trip, first stop will be the supermarket! To stock up on water. Checked out the map and found that Taiwan has quite a few supermarket chains - 頂好Wellcome (equivalent to Sheng Siong), 全聯福利pxmart, Carrefour, A-mart, RT-mart.
There is one pxmart a few blocks away and Keykey said let's drive over. It was only around 7am but
it is already quite bright outside.
Parked along the street, just outside the supermarket. Take note not to block the small lane leading
onto the main road. These small lanes appear to be quite narrow but apparently, are still being used
for residents in coming in and out of the neighbourhood.
Big Key said.. "You know vehicles are cheap when a vehicle can be used as a advertisement board!"

Lots of diapers and prices are a but cheaper than Singapore.
Keykey and co lugged back many bottles of water. The rented car was definitely useful for it. After returning to the hotel, Big Key volunteered to go out to buy lunch. Initially, he wanted to try this noodles stall just next to the family mart but found out that it was not opened.
However, just in front of the noodles stall, there is a small stall selling breakfast. Big Key spoke to the auntie and she shared that she open everyday except Sundays, 4am to 11am. Big Key loves buying food from these stalls, not sure if it is due to novelty, cheap or both!

After buying from this stall, Greedy Big Key went to Family Mart to buy even more food! Those precooked food are very enticing.

After breakfast, Keykey and co. made their way towards Nanzhuang Old Street. It is the equivalent of Jiufen and is a must visit at Miaoli. Along the way, Big Key suddenly said that there is a place call Toufen Backyard Garden that everyone could visit. He was so proud of it and everyone just follow him.
But who knows... Keykey and co. got lost in the area looking for this backyard!

Turn here turn there, even pass through a cementary! Finally, Keykey and co. realised that the backyard garden is not a specific location but the entire area. Google Map does not incidcate all the teahouse and sights at this area. There appear to be trails here too but there were not enough time to explore.
This is one of the location that Big Key parked the car for everyone to walk around. Went into this garden with a tea house. The tea house looks to be very popular and offer a good view of the surrounding.
