Phuket in June - Day 3

The weather in June was mostly hot with heavy showers. We were fortunate that it rained mostly when we were indoors and didnt get wet. But do be very careful when driving around at night on wet roads.

We made a trip to Promthep Cape which was around 30+km away from our hotel. Wanted to make a trip there on the second day but it was already dark. So decided to go off early on the third day! 

Reached just after noon and there were not many people around. Bring along sunblock/cap/umbrella as it can get very sunny 

Great views at Promthep Cape. Saw many people climbing down the end. Keykey would have loved to climb all the way there!

Big Key and Lady Key bought ice-creams (Magnum icecream very cheap!) at a Family Mart just at the foot of the hill up to eat. Super nice!

After finishing, Big Key and Lady Key decided to head to Kata to have lunch. They remembered this Orchid Restaurant outside Sugar Palm Grand Hillside Hotel which they visited previously. The food is good and cheap! Decided to go again!

Too bad the restaurant has been taken over. The whole deco and prices are similar though.

After finishing lunch, the 2 Keys went to window shop around the area. Big Key managed to find his all time fav phuket food

Banana pancake with condensed milk! This is the nicest one he has ever find. It is from the motorcycle stall just outside the 7-11 at Kata, next to Mali restaurant. 

After the lunch, the 2 Keys decided to go for a massage at Let's Relax Phuket. It is just near to Jungceylon Shopping Center, Patong. Though not very cheap, it has a very good ambience and professional masseurs.

Do drive back from Patong to the Laguna area early as the road is steep and windy!

Last night of the Phuket trip!
