Taiwan - Keykey goes Taiwan to play!

Keykey finally saved enough peanuts to buy a laptop to post his trip to Taiwan! His belated trip to Taiwan last summer!

Keykey used his UA miles to sit his SIA plane. First time to Taiwan - Taoyuan International Airport

Once out of the departure hall, he saw this counter! Can get his Youth Travel card here - Tourism Service Center (0700 - 2330). Can also get it at Taipei Main Station  (0800-2000). Youth Travel card offers discount at numerous places. It's free! Remember to bring it along everywhere~

Bigkey and Lady Key bought the Kuo-Kuang Bus tickets to Taipei Main Station at the city. Keykey smuggled himself up! Bus departs frequently and he wasn't worried about not having a space

Off, we go~ so many buses!

Keykey was dropped off just outside of the Taipei Main Station.

Went into the Station to look around. Lots of timings for trains

Can buy the tickets at the counter here. For HSR and TRA tickets, you must go to the correct place to get. You can buy them online before collection. If bought early online, HSR tickets have discount!

After around 10mins of walking, Big Key and co. finally reached the City Inn Hotel I at No.7, Huaining St., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City 100. It is just outside the mrt. Walk around 1 block.

The entrance to the hotel on the right! A convnience store is just beside the hotel. Super convenient!

The check in is at 3pm. The reception also provide luggage storage up to 7 days, suitable for you to visit other cities while leaving unnecessary stuff at the reception at no cost.

Our 時尚客房  room! Bed is alright. But the room is a bit squeezy with our 2 luggages.

Within the hotel, there are also free washing machines to do laundry. There is also a coffee/tea corner for hot water, microwave and tea. Nice.

After settling in, they set out on an adventure to find the tallest building!

Keykey heard that no slippers are allowed. So he hitched a ride in Big key's pocket and went barefooted.

Can take free shuttle bus (1100-2100; every 20 minutes) outside the buiding back to City Hall MRT

Hungry! Keykey introduced everyone to eat at his friend's place - 鬍鬚张鲁肉饭 (MRT: Houshanpi (Exit 4) ->  永吉路 (walk abt 5min))

Small portions as Keykey ordered instead of Big Key. If Lady key, will be MONSTER portion!

This shop is famous for the braised pork rice. It is very nice on its own. But recommended to get a few side dishes for variety. They were selling vacuum packs to bring back. Keykey wants to go back get more!

After that, keykey went to wufenpu for shopping! Brought all his peanuts there!

But too early!All closed.

Can take direct train from Songshan back to Taipei Main Station. No need to change here and there.

Decided to walk around Taipei Main Station. The underground section of the station has a lot of stores and eateries.
